Obituary : Albert Peter Martin
Albert P. Martin - Sandpoint, Idaho
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Moon Chapel for Albert Peter
Martin who would have been 82 today. The Rev. John O'Donovan will
officiate. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Mr. Martin died
Wednesday at the Spokane Veteran's Administration Hospital. He was born
Nov. 10, 1891 in Saskatchewan, Canada. He married Nina Thorp on Feb. 8,
1919, at Butte, Mont., and they moved to the Sandpoint area in 1923. He
worked for many years as a general mechanic in Sandpoint before retiring
in 1958. Mr. martin served in the United States Army during World War I
and was a former member of the American Legion. Survivors include his
wife at the home here, (Private); three
grandsons and one sister, Mrs. Hedwig Krischuck, Cando, N.D.
