Mrs. Olive Cook Died Wednesday Of Heart Attack
A sudden heart attack that came without any previous physical warning
Wednesday at 8 a.m. snuffed out the life of Mrs. Olive Cook, 33, of 355
Pleasant Street. Mrs. Cook had been in normal health, and and not visited
a physician for a considerable length of time. Neither she nor any other
member of her immediate family knew or suspected that she was suffering
from any bad heart condition. Mrs. Cook, wife of Ralph "Cub" Cook
and the mother of three children, was a native of California and had resided
in this community for about nine or ten years. Her husband was a former
member of the Coalinga police department and he is at present a driller for
the Newton Drilling Company. Funeral arrangements have been completed and
services are to be held at the Adcock-Bragg Mortuary Chapel Friday at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Stanley Brown of the Baptist Church will officate and the interment
will follow at the Grangeville Cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Cook, besides her
husband, are (Private).
Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sprague of Sutter Creek,
and (Private) of this city.
