NOTES

Hannah Faulkner was the daughter of Edmond Faulkner and Dorathy Robinson, both of whom were born in England.

Pasco Chubb was a captain in the Royal Army and whilst in command of the fort at Pemaquid (in what is now Maine) in 1696, surrendered it without firing a shot. He later settled in Andover where in 1698, American Indians avenged his earlier treacherous treatment of them. Contemporary accounts describe Pasco Chubb as a thoroughly unpleasant man.
